Euskelosaurusmay have been quite specialised for a sauropodomorphdinosaur since theshaft of the femur is physically twisted. This led in 1979 toa palaeontologist by the name of Heerden to suggest that Euskelosaurusmight have been bow legged instead of just growing straight down likesimilar sauropodomorphs. The twisting of the femur may have been away that Euskelosaurus adapted to cope with itslarge body, which atten meters long would have been one of the largest of all thesauropodomorphs (though some species such as Yunnanosaurusyoungi grew even bigger).
